This virtual issue of DATABASE is dedicated to the ACM Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health Informatics (ACM-BCB). This is a flagship conference of the ACM Special Interest Group on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Biomedical Informatics. There has been a large growth in the complexity and scale of biological and medical data in the past few decades and ACM-BCB serves to showcase this cutting-edge research.
The following articles were subject to the journal’s normal peer review process, and are collected together here as a ‘virtual issue’.
